Mt Cook - Christchurch

A big walk and a long drive today.
Started the day with a walk up the Hooker Valley which unfortunately is partly close due to renovations on one of the swing bridges. This is the view from our room.

After leaving Mt Cook we visited the famous church on the lake.

Today was a bit overcast then rained in the afternoon. First stop was Larnach Castle where we did a tour of the castle which was fantastic as Rodger the guide was so informative. Then it was Devonshire tea in the cafe and a walk around the gardens. We then continued out on the Otago Peninsula as far as we could go.
