Franz Josef

Franz Josef is a small town consisting mainly of accommodation and restaurants. Our helicopter flight was cancelled twice this morning so we did some walks.
Unfortunately our 3rd attempt at the helicopter ride was cancelled due to fog. Another walk this afternoon.

Today was a bit overcast then rained in the afternoon. First stop was Larnach Castle where we did a tour of the castle which was fantastic as Rodger the guide was so informative. Then it was Devonshire tea in the cafe and a walk around the gardens. We then continued out on the Otago Peninsula as far as we could go.
